"I gave Moosend a try, but..."
I gave Moosend a try, but the email templates felt outdated and kind of messy. It took way more time than I expected to make anything look clean, especially with spacing and colors. Some parts worked fine, but other times it felt like it only worked when it wanted to, which got frustrating. If you’re trying to put together a modern-looking email quickly, this probably isn’t the smoothest option.

I ran into a problem setting up one of my email lists, and support got back to me quickly. The first reply was kind of basic, so it didn’t really solve it for me, but after I followed up they took another look, fixed it, and explained what had happened. Overall it was a good experience, just not exactly instant.

Zapier ended up working fine, but Shopify kept doing random weird stuff and I was sitting there like, why is this so complicated? It wasn’t impossible to get through, just kind of a pain when it felt like it should’ve been straightforward.

Getting everything set up was straightforward, but the approval process took way longer than I expected. I kept waiting around with hardly any updates, and it made me feel a bit ignored as a new customer.

"A bit harder to use than I expected"
As someone who’s comfortable figuring out new marketing tools, I was surprised by how much I struggled with Moosend. I tried using it to set up some email campaigns, but the menus didn’t feel very intuitive, and even creating a basic automation took me longer than I expected.
It did work once I finally got everything set up, so it’s not unusable or anything. But the layout felt clunky to me, and I spent a lot of time clicking around trying to find things. Maybe it gets easier after using it more, but my first experience wasn’t as smooth as I hoped.

"Heads up: the automation can be clunky"
I wanted to like the automation features, but the workflows have been way too unreliable for me. They bug out more often than they should, which gets frustrating fast when you’re counting on them to save time. Just a heads up for anyone considering it, test everything carefully before you rely on it for anything important

The reports are easy to understand, which I appreciate because it helps me actually make sense of what’s going on instead of just staring at numbers. Sometimes the analytics feel a bit basic, and I do wish the export options were more flexible, but overall it’s useful for getting a clear picture and making better decisions

"My emails are finally getting seen"
I’ve been using Moosend for a few months now, it’s been such a nice change. My emails are actually landing in people’s inboxes way more often than before. I used to have a lot of promos end up in spam, which was super frustrating, but things have been much better since switching. Really happy with it so far!

"List management feels messier than it should"
Moosend has been fine for sending basic emails, but the list management is where it got annoying for me. Moving contacts around, cleaning up duplicates, and checking segments feels more confusing than it needs to be. A few times I wasn’t even sure if a segment had updated right away or if I needed to wait. It does work, but I end up double-checking everything, especially with bigger lists, so I don’t fully trust it for that side of things.

I used this for putting together some email campaigns, and it was easy enough to get the hang of. It helped me make the emails look decent quickly. There are a few little things that could feel smoother, but overall it did what I needed without much hassle.

It’s frustrating. Just when I’m trying to get something done, pages start freezing or my emails won’t send. It puts me in such a bad mood because it happens way too often
